ORBITVU EDITOR – software to capture, edit and post-produce still, 360º and 3D product photos

ORBITVU EDITOR is designed to help you process massive number of 360° and 3D images. It is the control centre of the whole system and the key to ORBITVU’s high productivity. Capturing, authoring, publishig and managing 360 projects is easy and time effective.

Project management

You can easly categorize, filter, open and upload your projects to internet. ORBITVU EDITOR will index project information in local database for faster access. 360° images can be batch uploaded to SUN server as a background process. It means you can work on next projects while the images are being uploaded.

Sequence capture automation

EDITOR manages the hardware in your set-up: it rotates the ORBITVU HEAD or SPIDER and also controls the shutter release of your digital camera to take the full sequence of images quickly and precisely. Images are imported automatically into EDITOR. Software is using original SDKs supplied by Nikon and Canon and is compatible with most of their DSLRs.

Batch sequence processing

EDITOR imports the images automatically and allows you to batch-edit them quickly. Brightness, levels, color saturation, sharpness, cropping can be applied all at once on all images. Low level, hardware optimized, multi-core, parallel algorithms make the process extremely fast even for large image files.

Background removal tools

Editor features automatic white/black background pixels detection and highlighting, which combined with white and black levels adjustment allow easly to achieve 100% pure white or black backgrounds. Editor dedicated for ALPHASHOT is featured with automatic background removal.

360° image export to SWF, GIF, AVI and native

Finally, the software outputs the 360° photo presentation in native, zoom-able ORBITVU format or to a single file animated GIF, Shockwave Flash or mpeg video. Everything under your control: image size, quality, watermark and more. EDITOR includes BASIC VIEWER redistributable license, for free 360° image distribution.

Multi camera live view control

With ORBITVU EDITOR you can now use camera Live View mode including digital zoom, manual and auto focus. Camera control includes ISO, aperture, shutter and White Balance. Multi camera mode makes it so much faster to capture full 3D product views.

360°/3D product viewer

EDITOR is equipped with latest ORBITVU VIEWER 2.0 – our state of the art HTML5/Flash 360/3D product viewer featuring new customization options: 4 styles of controls, custom colors which allows you to get really amazing visual effects and to fully integrate Orbitvu`s  product presentations with image of you brand.
